Jean-Luc Mongeau | The artist
Jean-Luc Mongeau is a painter-plasterer, and is currently preparing a doctorate in the Science of Religions at the University of Quebec at Montreal.
He has a very particular pastime: recuperating recycled materials to create works of art. He paints on the most highly diverse surfaces, recovered at random during his walks on the Plateau-Mont-Royal, using recycled paint. His canvases represent in the vast majority entanglements of circles and tracings made from the lids of pots and pans.

Francine Sabourin | The artist
When she is in search of inspiration, Francine Sabourin rummages in the garbage cans of her neighborhood to come up with objects into which she might breathe life.
Fascinated by everyday life, she sees in this refuse a multitude of characters, which she tries to bring out by making various collages and assemblages.
For her, a simple feather duster can turn into a funny creature in the blink of an eye… and lots of imagination. In her house are to be found strange and mysterious beings entangled in a decoration which is anything but ordinary!
